So... I got all dressed up in my skanking outfit (complete WITH whip, ahem), thinking that perhaps you're talks about "Midnight Pudding" had to do with some late-night tryst with moi (you know... "Midnight"... is "dark"... like "chocolate"... ahem), but I see now that you were purely, purely discussing your love of polishing off a vat of pudding in a LITERAL context. *Sigh* My disappointment knows no bounds, and I shall lovingly place my thigh hi's and whip in a drawer, ne'er to be touched until you are ready for your TRUE rendezvous with some "midnight puddin". I've never left a comment in your diary before but drunkencynic mentioned this entry and I must say, it's very well written. Not in terms of grammar and such, but in terms of what you have to say. I write for slightly different reasons, and my content is different from yours, but you described the public-diarist dilemma well. I think a popular reason to maintain a public diary is to vent or just talk to people who will listen, which isn't necessarily exhibitionistic. I think you kind of overlooked that aspect of it, because writing for youself and hoping it will amuse others in the process is not the same thing.
